Who we are  Executive DirectorJillian Gilchrest-- Jillian Gilchrest graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2004 with a B.A. in Women's Studies. Upon graduation, she worked as a Child Advocate at a Sexual Assault Crisis Center in Northeastern Connecticut. Jillian became extremely frustrated by what she believed to be a lack of services and policies to protect women and children from sexual violence. She took a position as a Legislative Aide and Committee Clerk at the Connecticut General Assembly for the Appropriation's Committee to gain a better understanding of the legislative process. While working at the State Legislature, Jillian became active in the debate to require Connecticut hospitals to offer and provide rape victims with emergency contraception. Jillian received her MSW in Policy Practice in 2008 from the University of Connecticut and in the winter of 2008, she was hired as the Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut.
